Chernyshov's combination of size, skating, and skill makes him one of the more intriguing young wingers. At 6-foot-2 with pro-caliber speed and high-end puck handling, he has been a reliable point producer at every level. With the Barracuda, he produced 33 points in 41 AHL games, and when San Jose recalled him, Chernyshov didn't look out of place, posting 22 points in 31 NHL games while skating alongside Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith.
